The Greenhorn Valley is a confident and interesting
place, full of optimism and opportunity. We treasure our
past. We embrace our diversity. We nurture our future,
in our children and through stewardship of our
resources. People are proud to live here. In a 2001
community survey, three-fourths of us said our neighbors
have pride in the Valley, and nearly 70 percent of us
rate the quality of life as good or better. 92 percent
of us feel safe in our community.
Whether you choose Rye, San Isabel, or Colorado City, we
encourage you to take advantage of the many civic,
cultural and community organizations and activities. We
think you will find this a very welcoming community -
one that values the participation of all residents. The
continuing health of our community is based on strong
participation by residents and businesses who work
together to enhance the quality of life we all enjoy.
